University Policies for Faculty

University policies provide a framework to support the teaching, research, and administrative work of the University and guide faculty regarding roles and responsibilities. The Faculty Handbook outlines the core expectations, requirements, policies, and procedures that affect faculty members. Additionally, the broader set of university policies that apply to all employees are available in the University Policy Library.

For organization and faculty governance information, please refer to the University Faculty Senate Charter and the University Faculty Senate Committee Policy Document on the Faculty Senate website.

Broad school-specific policies and procedures are listed in the appendices of the Faculty Handbook. Additional specifics regarding school-specific policies, procedures, or governance may be available through the school’s website or by contacting the respective dean’s office.

Below are direct links to some of the most frequently referenced policies for faculty. These resources are provided for convenience and quick access, but faculty are encouraged to consult the full Faculty Handbook and University Policy Library for comprehensive information.
