Faculty Hiring Toolkit
The success of our University is in large part built around our ability to hire great talent. Successful, inclusive searches require planning and intentionality. This toolkit equips department chairs, search committee chairs, and search advocates to execute an excellent search.

Faculty Hiring Workshop
This training provides an overview of the faculty hiring process, to include information about faculty ads and recruiting. Participants will review effective practices that promote equity and, consistency, while valuing the potential contributions of all candidates.
Prior to the session, participants must complete the Faculty Hiring Module titled “Creating an Equitable Search Process” available through TalentWeb.
Faculty serving on a faculty search committee as chair or diversity and search advocate (DASA) must attend the entire workshop to receive certification. Certification is valid for two academic years for both requirements (online module and workshop).
