Service and Governance

The University of Richmond is committed to the principle of shared governance. The faculty fulfills its role in shared governance through the Faculty Senate, university faculty committees, school-specific faculty committees, and representative seats on specially appointed committees. Through participation in shared governance, the faculty helps ensure the academic quality of the institution.
