Understanding the Role of Implicit Bias in Teaching and Learning
This FLC explores how implicit bias influences teaching and learning in a higher education institution. It identifies best practices for faculty to reduce implicit bias in their teaching, assessments and interactions with undergraduate, graduate and professional students. This FLC builds upon the lessons that the FLC on stereotype threat learned during the 2016 -17 academic year.
