The Office of the Provost is committed to providing a variety of development opportunities to support our faculty through every stage of their career.

Faculty development events sponsored by the Office of the Provost are listed below.

Building and Sustaining an Effective Faculty Mentoring Program

Part 1: Friday, January 28, 2022, 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Part 2: Friday, February 18, 2022, 11:30 AM - 2:00 PM

Effective faculty mentoring programs are often cited as critical to the thriving of the faculty. This two-part workshop will take faculty leaders through a process to create and sustain an effective mentoring program for early and mid-career faculty members. The overall aim is to develop institutional mentoring support that would work within schools and/or departments. There will be an emphasis on ensuring an inclusive mentorship plan.

This program is for Associate Deans, Department Chairs, and other faculty leaders interested in effective faculty mentoring programs.

The session on January 28 will be on Zoom from 11:30 am to 2 pm with a short lunch break from 12:30 – 1 pm (there will be an optional discussion time over lunch or participants may take a full break).  To register, click here

This is a two-part program - please join us for both sessions!
