Student Guidance

Faculty members play a critical role in serving as academic advisors to our students. Whether advising a student on course selection or discussing the student's interests and professional goals, faculty advisors are essential to our student's academic success. Faculty and students can find additional information about advising through the Academic Advising Resource Center.

Prospective Students

Faculty involvement with Richmond students begins early in the admission process. High school students begin their college search as early as their sophomore year by exploring Web sites and visiting campuses. Interaction with faculty is becoming increasingly important in that process.

Richmond faculty can have a dramatic impact in students’ application and enrollment decisions by being available for prospective students who call or e-mail an academic department, offering a current Web page, welcoming visitors into the classroom, contacting accepted students as a faculty recruiter, presenting a poster at the Accepted Student Open House and participating in other programs for prospective students.

Registration

Reference the Registrar's site for information on registration, schedules (class and exam), calendars, catalogs, policies and graduation (degree and General Education requirements).
