Dr. R. Kirk Jonas
Research Integrity Officer R. Kirk Jonas holds the office of Research Integrity Officer and Chair of the Institutional Review Board. He served as Interim Associate Provost from July 2007 to April 2009. Prior to that time he served as Director of the Richmond Research Institute and has served as an adjunct professor of political science at the University since 1986. Prior to joining the University, Jonas served as deputy director of the Virginia Joint Legislative Audit and Review Commission.

Jonas holds a Ph.D. in public policy and public administration from Virginia Commonwealth University, an M.A. in political science from the University of Richmond, and a B.A. in political science from Wake Forest University.
