Committees and Special Task Forces - Westhampton College Student Affairs Committee
Charge:
The Westhampton College Student Affairs Committee concerns itself with the quality of life of Westhampton College (WC) students both inside and outside the classroom and makes recommendations for improving the college to the appropriate administrators and faculty. In addition the committee, along with the Richmond College Student Affairs Committee, hears requests for new student organization recognition and forwards approved requests to the faculty for further action.
Membership:
The Westhampton College Student Affairs Committee is compromised of the Dean of WC, the WC Assistant Dean for Programming and Leadership Development (who serves as the chair), two A&S faculty members, one faculty member from RSB, one faculty member from the JSLS, a member of the Student Activities staff, and ten WC students who are selected based on their leadership roles in ten WC student organizations.
