Committees and Special Task Forces - Committee on Faculty Status
Charge:
The Committee on Faculty Status is responsible for considering, on the recommendation of the Provost, new and/or revised staff positions for faculty status. When directed, the committee will conduct reviews of continuing positions to ensure that faculty status is attached only to positions that are directly involved in academic programs. Committee recommendations require endorsement by the full faculty.
Membership:
The Committee on Faculty Status is comprised of five faculty members, one from each school.
